The boat is at your disposal for the whole day and you can decide:
- Start time
- Arrival Time
- place to stop, visit and durations. Please note that not all town are equipped with proper public peers where disembark and embark is safe. Wind and waves also paly a very imporant role in safety. So the Cptain will evaluate, based on experince, if teh stop is safe enough.
- the area considered is the part of the lake between Como and Menaggio. Longer distance may require additional fuel fee
Please note that Villa Carlotta and Villa al Balbianello require advance reservation and to purchase a ticket and cannot be visited at the last minute. Villa al Balbianello is open only on some days of the week. Please visit relative website for updated information.

Tours Duration

Boat Tour are private and you can decide the duration, compatibly with the bookings agenda. Usually they last 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours. You may also decide where to go and and how long to make the stop (for example tours for Bellagio and Varenna usually take 3 or 4 hours. Please look at our tour in the Tours section of this website. It's also possible to modify or extend the Boat Tour once on board, if it is compatible with the bookings agenda.

Meeting Point

Unfortunately, a pick up service is not available at the meoment, so you need to reach meeting point and boarding peer on your own. We usually meet customers around 50 meters from the boarding peer. You will be on the lake walkway/promenade, while we will be on the boat close to the walkway, so we can see each other and you can see our boat, avoiding boarding peer crowd and confusion

Languages and Explanations

We speak Italian and English.
Usually, if you want, we can provide some information about history and legends of the Como Lake and about villas and house you can see from the boat.

Food & Drink onboard

Usually it's not possible to bring or consume food and drink onboard. Excpetions can be made on a case by case agreement, provided that you will leave the boat clean, do not stain cushions and bring away your garbage.

Pets

Small size pets are allowed if they feel comfortable with boat rolling and moving, do not scratch or stain boat and cushions. Customers are fully responsible of damages to the boat or problems of the pets. Pets are not allowed to stay on cushions and seats.

Swimming

It's usually possible to swim in the lake, if safety conditions are respected. Passengers are required to be very good swimmers, as lake waters can be dangerous. Based on weather conditions and forecast, boat traffic and other considerations, the Captain will decide if swimming is possible. Como Blue Lake is not responsible, in any way, for passengers safety during getting on and off the boat and swimming. Sqimming is an activity totally under personal passenger responsibility. Please see Safety section of this website

Bluetooth Music

It's usually possible for passengers to play their own playlist with their Smartphone, simply connecting to the boat Bluetooth Sound System.
One of the passengers Smartphone will be connected by the Captain, after the contract form has been filled, payment done and after leaving the port area. The Captain may require to keep the music level within a certain range in some of the visited place for respect for other people both living on lake side or stayin on other boats.

Baby Strollers and Kids

Babies and Kids are welcome onboard, totally under acompayning adults responsibility. It's usually possible, for passengers, to bring a baby stroller onboard, but the Captain may refuse it for particular safety reason or when the boat is full. When onboard babies and kids should wear a life jacket and are required not to be seated or linked to the stroller. 1 life jacket for kids starting from 10 kg weight and 3 for kids starting from 20 kg weight are available onboard. For younger babies a personal life jacket must be provided by accompanying adults

Meeting Point:

The meetigni point will help us to see each other, avoiding the usual crowd and confusion of the boarding peer. We will be on our boat (see pictire below) so you will see us from the lake side walkway. Then we go together to the Boarding peer, only 50 meters away on the right
